Itinerary
We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in Vietnam.
(Lunch/Dinner included)
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, our enthusiastic Luco Travel tour guides will greet you with waving flags and warm smiles.
After a cozy lunch at a local restaurant (Halal/Vegan options available), we begin our journey through the historic capital. We start at Hoa Lo Prison, also known as Maison Centrale. This site offers a poignant look into Vietnam’s colonial history and the harsh conditions endured by Vietnamese revolutionaries during the French occupation. Students will explore prison cells, historical artifacts, and narratives that deepen their understanding of sacrifice, nationalism, and resilience.

Then we head to the Old Quarter to marvel at St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Hoan Kiem Lake, and Ngoc Son Temple, where students will experience the rich cultural tapestry and spiritual heart of Hanoi.

In the evening, students will enjoy the Water Puppet Show at Lotus Theatre. This unique Vietnamese art form blends music, storytelling, and puppetry on water, offering insights into rural traditions, folklore, and communal celebrations.
We close the day with dinner and hotel check-in. Before lights out, students will prepare for their upcoming service project at Friendship Village.
Overnight in Hanoi, organized by Vietnam Educational Tours
(Full-day meals included)
After breakfast at the hotel, students will head to Friendship Village, an inspiring institution supporting children with disabilities and war veterans affected by Agent Orange.
Our day begins with a welcome from the Village Manager, followed by an introduction to their work. Students will be divided into two teams:
- Group 1: interact with local students through traditional games and art activities, which will help students build empathy, communication skills, and cross-cultural understanding.
- Group 2: help clean classrooms and contribute to wall painting and decorations for a joyful learning environment, which encourages responsibility and teamwork in community care
After lunch, the group continues with collaborative activities, supporting the center’s daily operations and nurturing bonds with the residents.
Dinner is served at a local restaurant (Halal/Vegan options available) before heading back to the hotel for reflection and rest.

The second day at Friendship Village allows students to continue their involvement and deepen their impact. Alongside fun and educational activities, students will participate in a Veteran Sharing Session, listening to personal stories about the Vietnam War. This is a powerful opportunity for students to connect history to humanity.
After saying farewell, we head to Bat Trang Pottery Village, a traditional craft hub known for its centuries-old ceramic techniques. Here, students will join a Pottery Workshop, creating their own pieces and gaining hands-on cultural insight, which not only builds creativity but also introduces sustainable local economies and heritage preservation.

Later in the afternoon, the group visits a Trung Nguyen Coffee Shop, where students will learn about Vietnamese coffee culture through a live demonstration. The session ends with tasting Vietnam’s signature brew, which is a flavorful, slow-drip experience that reveals the artistry of local traditions.
Following dinner at a local restaurant, students return to the hotel for a reflection activity on their service journey.
